Mr. David DeSoto will soon be starting his first year at the Argyle 6th Grade Center after 14 years as the head director of the DeLay Middle School band in Lewisville.

Mr. DeSoto was Teacher of the Year for the 2014-2015 school year and served as the TMEA Middle School Band Coordinator from 2021-2024.

He was previously an assistant director at Berkner High School and Plano West Senior High School. Mr. DeSoto has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Music Degree from Southern

Methodist University.
